Rules of the Island
- The exchange of ideas, including differences of opinion, is acceptable and encouraged; attacking or harassing an individual is not. Be respectful and considerate when posting to the site.
- Posts, member names, subject lines, images video or audio files containing profanity, sexually graphic or offensive material, are unacceptable and will be deleted. In addition, while frank discussions are welcomed, offensive slang terms are not.
- We do not allow threatening, racist, abusive, hateful or violent language or behavior.
- Participation in, suggesting, or encouraging any illegal, inappropriate, or dangerous behavior, including stalking, that may result in harm to anyone is cause for immediate deletion and suspension of posting privileges and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Copyrighted materials (text, images, audio or video files) may not be used without express permission of the relevant copyright owners.
- Do not flood or spam, post chain letters, pyramid schemes, junk mail, or URLs for outside sites that violate any of P&G’s Terms of Use or guidelines.
- No personal or commercial solicitation or advertising will be allowed.
- This is a public discussion forum and as such, anything posted becomes public information. Do not post personally identifying information (last name, street address, phone number, name/location of school) that you do not want made public. Any reference to the personal identity of the participant other than first name, city and/or province/state will be removed.
- Any reference to personal information about others, including names or other information that can be used to identify or locate another individual or that could otherwise be considered invasion of another’s privacy will be removed.
- Defamatory statements will not be tolerated and any post containing libel and defamatory statements will be removed. Defamation is any published material that damages the reputation of an individual or an organization, exposes them to hatred ridicule or contempt, causes them to be shunned or avoided, discredits their trade, business or profession, or generally lowers them in the eyes of right thinking members of society. This covers material in a newspaper, magazine, film radio/TV broadcast and on the Internet.
- Please keep in mind that other members may claim expertise or status (legal, medical) that they do not, in fact, possess, and use discretion in following their advice.
- Users under the age of 14 may not post any material to the site.
- Posts attempting to impersonate client staff, medical personnel or other community members are not acceptable.
- If you break the Rules, the Always Happy Island team will contact you and the your account could be deleted, and you won’t have access to the site
